Michael Iversen, MD
CEO, President & Medical Director
Dr. Michael Iversen, MD is President and CEO of Urgent Doc. Dr. Iversen is board certified in family medicine and board eligible in emergency medicine along with urgent care medicine. He has a combined 31 years experience the above-mentioned areas. Dr. Iversen is originally from Denmark and relocated to the United States as a teenager. He attended the University of Texas, completed Medical School in San Antonio, Texas and Residency at Southwestern Medical school. Dr. Iversen is an avid Texas Longhorns fan and enjoys road biking, fishing, reading and photography. He is married to Carrie Iversen and has 3 children and 11 grandchildren.

Carrie Iversen
Vice President and Liaison
Carrie, VP, Liaison, began with us almost a year into opening of Urgent Doc. Carrie was a bank manager and software trainer in the banking industry prior to her time with us. She ensures that Urgent Doc is plugged into the communities we serve. Carrie enjoys decorating, traveling, her dogs and grandkids. Carrie is married to Michael Iversen and has 3 children and 11 grandchildren.

Duncan McKeever
CFO
Duncan is a senior partner with B2B CFO and has over 30 years of experience as a senior-level executive with extensive finance, accounting and operational experience in diverse industries including Energy, Healthcare, Security, Printing, Manufacturing, Employment and Financial Services. He has a demonstrated and proven ability to improve operations, impact business growth and maximize profits through achievements in finance and accounting management, cost reductions, internal controls, and productivity/efficiency improvements. He also has strong qualifications in general management, business planning, systems technology design and implementation, and staff development/leadership. Duncan sits on the board of directors for multiple non-profit organizations, has been married thirty years, has four children, and enjoys fishing and playing golf.

Jennifer Hand
RT(R) Chief Operating Officer
Jennifer Hand, Director of Clinical Operations, started with Urgent Doc in 2010 as a Radiologic Technologist at our Nacogdoches location where she took on the title of Clinical Manager before finally transitioning into her current role. She graduated from Kilgore College with a degree in Radiologic Science and has been in the medical field since 2007. Jennifer is originally from Mt. Enterprise but now resides in Nacogdoches with her husband and two children. She is an avid reader and also enjoys trips to the beach, home improvement projects and watching sports with her family (Go Cowboys and Rangers).

Crystal Maskunas, RT(R)
Director of Primary Care
Crystal Maskunas brings a combined 12 years of urgent care management experience and setting up and managing primary care clinics. She is a 2010 graduate of Angelina College with an Associates Degree in Radiologic Science. In 2010, she began in the Lufkin Urgent Doc office as a Radiologic Technologist and worked her way up to the Leadership Team and Director of Primary Care. Crystal is originally from San Augustine and now lives on Lake Sam Rayburn with her husband. Crystal and her husband have two sons. She likes to take trips with her family, spend time with her friends and hang out on any beach in the summertime.

Kristy Gentry
Director of Billing
Kristy Gentry is the Director of Billing for all of our Urgent Doc and Primary Doc clinic locations and has been with Urgent Doc since 2010. Kristy has worked in the medical field for 20 years. Kristy graduated from Lufkin High School in 1998 but, moved to Huntington as fast as she could. She has received multiple billing and coding administrative certificates from Angelina College. Kristy is married to her High School Sweetheart, Todd, and has 2 children, Katelyn and Kagan. She is expecting her first grandbaby in 2024. During her free time, you will find Kristy either at the lake fishing and camping or hanging out with her friends on the pontoon boat! Her favorite vacation spot is on a cruise ship, cruising across the sea. She absolutely loves any and all things leopard!!

Sandi Adams
Marketing and Credentialing Coordinator
Sandi Adams is the Credentialing Coordinator and Marketing Director for Urgent Doc. She has worked at Urgent Doc since 2009, where she began her career as a Patient Concierge while obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Stephen F. Austin State University. Sandi is passionate about both patient and employee satisfaction. She is married to Casey Adams and together they own Fitt Life in Lufkin. They have 3 children, Adreanna, Jasper, and Emery. Sandi loves all activities outdoors, especially hiking, kayaking, biking, and gardening. Her ideal vacation would be spending one week on a beautiful beach and then a week exploring mountains! Sandi is an active member of Timbercreek Church, Junior League of Lufkin, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Pregnancy Help Center of Lufkin.
