Urgent care FAQs

What insurances do you take?

Our Houston location is in the process of completing our insurance contracts. We had to wait for our construction to be complete before they would finalize the process.

We take most insurance Carriers. We also will accept Workers Compensation. Below are the major companies we accept:

We do not accept Medicaid.

What about my regular doctor?

We want to help you with all your needs your regular doctor cannot help you with at the time you are sick. We do not want to replace your family doctor, but we want to be available when your doctor is not able to see you. We can help with basic health maintenance if you need us at your convenience.

We can do EKGs, X-Rays, PAP smears, cancer screening, Cholesterol tests, Colon cancer screens and other routine blood tests in addition to a routine physical exam.

We will fax our diagnosis and treatment plan to your family doctor with your permission.

We hope we can assist you and your family doctor with keeping you in the best of health.

Do you make appointments?

We don’t make appointments. We want to see you when you need us. If we are so busy that you have to wait longer than 30 minutes, we will give you the option to go shopping, run errands or go home and we will call you when you have less then 20 minutes to see the doctor.

To make it even more convenient, we can check you in on line via a secure Internet connection. We will ask you for your personal and insurance information. We will call you with the number you leave us when it is your turn to be seen. This can all be done in the comfort of your home or place of work so you wont have to deal with any waiting or paper work in the waiting room!

Do you offer discounts for cash?

We do offer discounts if you have to pay with cash. If you have a health savings account, are self-insured or dont have insurance, the paperwork load is greatly lessened. We will discount your bill up to 30 % depending on what services and tests are done.

Do you admit to the hospital?

We don’t admit to the hospitals in town. We work with Hospitalists doctors. They are doctors that specialize in taking care of patients in the hospital. They are there all day and night. They can do this because they don’t have a regular office. They do not see patients outside of the hospital, just like emergency room doctors.

Of course, if you have a family doctor, you should be under your doctors care while in the hospital.

Since we don’t go to the hospital, we can be available 7 days a week, even stay open late every week day night up until 9 pm!

We feel this will give you a better choice in medical care and will provide a higher quality of medicine – All of this with the convenience of medical care when you need it!
